Centella asiatica extract is extracted from whole herb of centella asiatica, it is also called, gotu kola extract, asiatica extract or asiatic pennywort extract. The active ingredients from centella asiatica extract are Madecassoside and Asiaticoside.

Madecassoside 10%-90%

Madecassoside is brown to white powder, soluble in methanol. Madecassoside powder is helpful for relieving depression, lightening burn scars, preventing cardiovascular diseases, improving  memory and whitening skin. It can be used in supplements and cosmetics.

Asiaticoside 10%-90%

Asiaticoside is brown to white powder with bitter taste, soluble in water and ethanol, insoluble in diethyl ether and chloroform. Asiaticoside powder has antidepressant and anti-inflammatory properties. It is also helpful to relieve skin wrinkles, assist wound healing, treat skin diseases and promote intelligence development. Asiaticoside is mainly used in supplements and cosmetics.
