Vonoprazan Fumarate is a novel potassium-competitive acid blocker (P-CAB) with CAS number 1260141-27-2. It is primarily used to treat acid-related gastrointestinal disorders such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and peptic ulcers, characterized by rapid acid suppression and sustained efficacy. Compared to traditional proton pump inhibitors (PPIs), vonoprazan is more stable in acidic environments and does not require administration before meals, resulting in higher patient compliance.
